Nobita Nobi and his friends gathered to discuss their school project, which revolved around the theme of seas and oceans. Intrigued by tales of pirates and hidden treasures, Nobita couldn't help but express his desire to embark on a treasure hunt. Turning to his trusty robotic cat, Doraemon, he implored for assistance in uncovering these elusive secrets. Initially, Doraemon dismissed the notion of modern-day pirates and the existence of concealed treasures. However, everything changed when news of a recently discovered treasure chest reached their ears.
In light of this revelation, Doraemon decided to aid Nobita in setting sail on an exciting sea voyage, hunting for the elusive secret treasure. Alongside them, Shizuka Minamoto, Gian Goda, and Suneo Honekawa joined the expedition, transforming their playful outing into a grand nautical adventure.
As they roamed the vast expanse of the Pacific Ocean, their imaginations ran wild while they played pirates aboard their makeshift vessel. Little did they know, their carefree escapade was about to take a dramatic twist.
Doraemon, with his advanced sensors, detected an unusual disturbance in the space-time continuum. Suddenly, the group found themselves transported back in time, all the way to the perilous 16th century. To their astonishment, real dangers and monstrous sea creatures began to emerge around them.
In a heart-wrenching turn of events, a colossal whirlpool emerged and devoured their vessel, separating Nobita from the group as he struggled to stay afloat. The others narrowly escaped and were rescued by a band of 16th-century pirates, who happened to be aboard a massive pirate ship.
The whirlpool had stripped Doraemon of most of his futuristic gadgets, leaving only a handful at their disposal. With their gadgets compromised, they faced a new challenge: helping the 16th-century pirates rescue their comrades. Among the pirates was a feisty female named Betty, who had tragically lost track of her brother and father – the leader of their pirate crew.
As the group began to piece together their circumstances, they made a stunning discovery. Despite the wear and tear of time, Doraemon's treasure map was nearly identical to the pirates' own map. This revelation confirmed the existence of the elusive secret treasures they had sought after. The group, now united with the 16th-century pirates, embarked on a joint mission to recover their lost comrades and claim the hidden riches, all while navigating the treacherous waters of the past.
