Doraemon: Nobita and the Birth of Japan Story
The movie begins with a prehistoric boy hunting a fish, but he gets caught in a time vortex and ends up in the 20th century. Meanwhile, Nobita, feeling unhappy at home, suggests that he and his friends, Shizuka, Gian, Suneo, and their robot cat Doraemon, travel back in time to find a place without humans. They end up in prehistoric Japan, 70,000 years in the past.
In this new era, Doraemon assigns each of them a ministry, such as gardening and development. Nobita experiments with mixing animal genes to create mythical creatures but hides them from Doraemon. One night, a boy from the prehistoric era sneaks into Nobita's room and hides. When Gian and Suneo discover him, a scuffle ensues, and the boy faints. The group returns to the past with him.
They learn that the boy comes from ancient China and belongs to the light tribe, which was attacked by the dark tribe. Determined to help him, they locate and battle the dark tribe. However, the dark tribe's shaman possesses the power of regeneration and proves challenging. The group eventually relocates the entire tribe to Japan for safety.
Despite their efforts, the shaman's threat remains, so they return to the past. This time, they're too late, and the dark tribe has already captured the light tribe. The team divides to search for the light tribe. Doraemon faces Gigazombie, a 23rd-century time criminal with advanced gadgets, and gets defeated.
Nobita discovers a box with a mammoth that offers help. His pet animals, Pegasus, Dragon, and Griffin, come to his aid, but Gigazombie isolates them. Nobita summons a time patrol for help, leading to Gigazombie's arrest. Pegasus, Dragon, and Griffin, being fictional creatures, are taken to the future. The group bids a sad farewell and returns home.
