Doraemon the Movie 2018: Nobita’s Treasure Island Story
After learning about the legendary Treasure Island, Nobita envisions the idea of uncovering and adventuring on his very own treasure island, even though all of Earth's land has already been charted. To fulfill his dream, Doraemon steps in and presents Nobita with a unique treasure map pinpointing the whereabouts of a hidden treasure island. Coincidentally, news of the discovery of an entirely uncharted island hits the media. Convinced that this newfound island must be the fabled treasure island, Nobita enlists the help of Doraemon and Shizuka, and Doraemon provides them with a ship for their exciting journey.
Gian and Suneo decide to join the adventure as well. However, as they approach the island, an unexpected attack by a group of pirates takes them by surprise. To their astonishment, the island itself starts to move, unveiling its true nature as a colossal, technologically advanced ship. The pirates eventually retreat but manage to kidnap Shizuka during their escape. Despite their best efforts, Nobita and his companions are unable to rescue her, but they do manage to save an unconscious boy named Flock in the process.
Flock reveals that the assailants who assaulted them are, in reality, time travelers who journey through various time periods to plunder treasures from the ocean's depths. Flock himself was once a member of the pirate crew but chose to abandon it because he couldn't tolerate obeying Captain Silver's orders. Doraemon utilizes the treasure map to pinpoint the whereabouts of the pirate ship. Meanwhile, aboard the pirate vessel, Shizuka comes face to face with Sarah, Flock's sister.
Sarah agrees to assist Shizuka, and during their cooperation, both Flock and Sarah disclose the startling revelation that Captain Silver is their biological father. Unfortunately, he descended into madness following their mother's demise and developed an obsessive fixation on amassing vast treasures. In their quest to rescue Shizuka, Nobita and his friends undertake a daring operation, but unexpectedly end up rescuing and taking Sarah with them, while Shizuka is directly transported to Captain Silver.
